After Matt Shepperd, founder of I Am Change, spoke at Caroline’s school, she made a decision to use her birthday for someone else’s benefit and not simply her own. By encouraging friends to bring donations to The Hydrate Hope project of I Am Change, instead of presents, her 16th Birthday party raised an incredible $700! However, I Am Change was able to find a donor who was willing to match the $700 1:1; turning the money raised into $1,400! Thousands of lives have been directly impacted because Caroline chose to be the change! |
